I figure I’ll do something like this every so often.

What has been a category you created that really became useful to you or provided unexpected value?

For me it's "small trips". I have a category for each typical vacation in the year (summer camping, winter skiing, xmas,) but then also this little generic thing for spontaneous day trips or the random overnight stay. I just fund it with €50 each month and that's plenty.
