Vancouver – The search for a missing 55-year-old woman has ended with the discovery of her remains in Vancouver’s Southlands neighborhood.

Vancouver Police launched an investigation into the disappearance of Tracy Pickett on September 27, after she was reported missing from her home by a family member.

Earlier today, Tracy’s body was found by VPD officers who were searching for her in the area.

Vancouver Police will work with the BC Coroner’s Service, who will determine the cause of Tracy’s death. At this stage of the investigation, Tracy’s death does not appear to be the result of a crime and there is no public safety risk.
