Can someone explain how favorites and the top bar work? (kbin.social)

I don't see a way to mark something as a favorite, and when I go to https://kbin.social/fav I don't understand why it is I see the magazine I do which are different from all and subscribed.

As for the top bar, it seems to just be random magazine that sometimes even empty. Is there a way to control what shows up there?

When you like something, you will also favorite it. You can view your favorites through the hamburger icon on the top right next to your username.

For the top bar, the bar will show random magazines when you refresh the page. The feature to customize the bar will come soon.

Ohh I'm used to favorites being used as a custom list, that makes sense now, thanks.

Glad to hear topbar editing is coming. That's space I would love to use for my most common mags.
