Today the first of 13 dev diary entries for the new cities skylines two was released by CO. In this video the youtuber Biffa does a deep dive into the accompanying video trailer about the "Road Tools".

Well, if the roads are an indicator for how good the game is going to be, it looks like the game is going to be great.
