So long as both of you can still manage to remain happy even in divergences and you don't let it become harmful to either's mental health (and also they're at least a leftist), I don't see why not. Just try to avoid being insufferable or throwing away your own opinions because you think that'll make them like you more.

I wouldn't though, I'm chronically insufferable irl. But I also don't date. #volcelvanguard
