Think about it, open source twitter, open source tiktok, open source instagram

If we could get everyone to switch away from the corporate social media

I will point out that Mastodon and Pixelfed are Federated and open source versions of Twitter and Instagram respectively. Although, I do remember seeing something about Pixelfed's founder stepping away for a while.

We supposedly also have peertube for a fediverse youtube and apparently nextcloud joined the fediverse as well. Were already much bigger than we know.

What does tumblr or its clone in the fediverse bring of value? It seems to me Reddit it’s just a better Tumblr but maybe I’m missing something.
