It's not in the fediverse, but it's interesting as evidence of a migration away from reddit.

Interesting. It seems to try to address shitty social media behaviour (cough Reddit cough cough). It isn't something that I'd use, but I bet that plenty people would genuinely benefit from and enjoy it, so I hope that it thrives.

I wonder what that system would be like on lemmy/kbin. I've already run into shitty people here, and I probably always will.

If Beehaw stays true to its premise, we might see something similar there, except through different measures.

Well, you can never completely avoid shitty people, no matter how you define "shitty". However the userbase here took a step in the right direction when it comes to non-hostile behaviour - I feel like the odds are far, far lower here than there.
