Yeah I mean it's not like they're anything special. I have seen kits online they use to transfer the chips to new cartridges, but im too scared im gonna brick the damn thing if I try, haha.
Good to know they're not that expensive, a brief browse and it makes it seem like a printer that does photos and scans and all that good stuff, is at least twice the cost of a typical printer, but like I said, I didn't dive real deep.
I'm sure if I actually did my research I could find a good deal. And even then, like you said, it does seem like it would pay for itself pretty quickly.
