I think it's pretty decent, but I've only watched the anime. Is the manga worth reading?

I think the anime has been a decent adaptation, but the manga obviously goes much further than the anime can in a single season.

I’m reading it in Japanese to practice, and it has been quite the challenge — a lot of Buddhist & Taoist language, concepts and terms to learn.
