The problem is that those two monitors have slightly different DPI - the 24 has roughly 93 DPI while the 27 has around 109. Even if you align them in the multi monitor setting page, they'll be aligned only at a certain point. You can probably play around with the scaling settings (you'll need to set something like 15% difference between the two).
