The user base is not a monolith.

Are you asking why there aren't more communities? Because you haven't created them yet. Not a single snowflake feels responsible for an avalanche, they say.

Also, you named a bunch of specific communities that have nothing to do with each other and do not define the entire community. Not sure how that makes Lemmy generic.
