Are there any Lemmy apps other than jerboa that are in the main repo? It seems like the only option

Never heard of Obtainium, how is it better?

it allows you to install apps directly from their git repos, so you get updates quicker and more apps at the cost of adding the sources manually

In addition to the other commenter, not just GitHub, but lots of sources including F-Droid and Izzy.

It can also background install on newer Android versions, which I don't believe F-Droid does yet.

Hm okay, can not simply find it and install it. Assuming I need to root, which will not happen for banking reasons.
