I have a usbc to lightning cable. can i use that to transfer data from my iPhone 12PM to my iPhone 15PM? (self.apple_enthusiast)

The cable already exists for fast charging and what not. Seems like going from this phone to the new one (coming Friday!) should be a piece of cake.

When setting up your new iPhone you should have the option to wirelessly move the data from one to another. This would be substantially faster than using the lightning connector on the 12. USB 2.0 speed is a theoretical max of 53mbs, while WiFi should be a couple of hundred mbs.

Wireless transfers should run at gigabits per second with modern devices.
