A gaming sub free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I've never played any of the Diablos, or met anyone who has. But they are obviously popular for a reason. Are they worth going back to the first one?

Edit: Thanks for the answers, the community is alive! Based on you recommendations it looks like I'm going to give 2 resurrected a try.

Hey thanks! I'm trying to go into the less hard core Diablo first, would you say diablo 1 is the best for that?

The mod adds one more difficulty level to the base game, so there's room to keep grinding and making progress if you get into it.
I'd say roll Sorcerer if you just want to finish it and move onto sequels. Sorcerer will be pretty chill to play up to the third difficulty. Pick a Warrior/Rogue if you want the challenge, those classes are gear dependent. Since you can trade gear between characters, actually playing the game as Sorcerer and funneling gear to the other classes is a viable strategy to tackle the fourth difficulty.

This is great advice, looks like sorcerer is more my jam. I don't have that much time to think very deeply about my builds. You have been really helpful, thanks!
