Its what happens when you have several decades building brand mindset. It ALWAYS irks me when someone asks for buying something via brand.
Its one thing to buy a brand because of customer service, and i get it. Its bad to buy a brand because of the mindset that the product is "better", as that gives companies a free pass on releasing shit products and getting away with it.
I detest the "I stick with X brand" kind of mindset. You should always research. Bare minimum you can do (that goes a long way) is to ask online
