Nevertheless, DepEd indicated that the possibility of resuming classes in June may not be feasible for the next three to five school years.

It shouldn't have been moved in the first place. If they were trying to avoid the weather, then too bad because the weather followed suit. Especially as climate change has been a thing for so much longer than their ill-fated plan to move the SY. I know it sounds like hindsight but I've been opposed to this since it was suggested long ago. I was a teen then so I had many mistaken beliefs, but this is one that has been proven true. I wonder what the people who suggested this are thinking now.
