Personally I'm absolutely for ditching CMP, I don't think a state enforced monopoly can be owned by a company without them exploiting their position. I'm also not a huge fan of them be Saudi owned. I figure a community owned power company could make some great changes. I don't have much inside knowledge about them but I do know the data they give their contractors is garbage. I'm curious if anyone has any other information about either CMP or Pine Tree Power and how they feel about them.

This is the first I'm hearing of this so far. I like the idea of a community owned utility company. I don't know if this will work out or not, but I think it would be worth trying.
