Fps drops to single digits on Legion 5 Laptop (FIXED) (feddit.nl)

I'm getting fps drops to the single digits, while on average its around 30 fps. Even on lower settings and in smaller instances. my specs are:

AMD Ryzen 7
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060
953GB Western Digital WDC PC SN730 SDBPNTY-1T00-1101
1863GB Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2T (Starfield's installed here)

Any help or insight is welcome.

Solved: It was an overheating CPU due to the vents being clogged with dust. Thanks for all the advice given, I do really appreciate it!

Is it really a 2GB GPU? If so, you’re going to want low resolution scale, and probably a mod with performance textures. I think it’s been over 5 years since I’ve seen a GPU with that little VRAM. I wish you luck finding the settings/tweaks/mods to make it work.
