Interesting thought; it would help if provinces would revamp employment legislation to include rights for working from home. The other thing to consider is internet access is more rural and remote areas. Starlink helps, but the bandwidth is still a fraction of what is available in major cities. Either way, reinforcing WFH helps with both the housing crisis as well as reducing commutes and traffic pollution.
I love to dream too, but I really don't see the government going up against ISPs to provide high speed internet to rural communities or against giant corporations to allow work from home.
