I think it's for the best. Most albums are good for only 3 maybe 5 songs anyway and the rest are just filler that used to be difficult to skip (especially with cassette days).

I only buy full albums/EPs if I really love the artist, particularly indie OPM acts, to support them. But for the most part, I just make up a playlist with the songs I like.
