In a significant development, the Biden administration is preparing to ship armor-piercing munitions containing depleted uranium to Ukraine, marking the first time such weaponry will be sent to the country. I don't think that there's much use for that in knocking out anything lighter than an MBT, so I assume that Ukraine expects to use them in a role where there may be tank-on-tank fighting.

It's not even really news worthy, it just has the word "uranium" so it generates clicks. Depleted uranium rounds were also supplied with the Challenger MBT from the UK. It's just part of the kit.
