Oh he always does. He gets wet food because he's got bad teeth (something called stomatitis) where he's allergic to his own tooth enamel. We are half way through having his teeth removed. Vet couldn't do them all in one session because some are still very well seated and he'd have to be under sedation too long. It sucks big time but he's a really good boy and has been a trooper through all the vet visits. Here is a pic from when I was ignoring him a few minutes before.

Wow. I'd never heard of stomatitis before, but it sounds pretty painful. Hope he gets through it OK. Thanks for the extra pic! That's a face that's hard to say no to.
