An online space for the vegans of Lemmy.

Rules and miscellaneous:

  1. We take for granted that if you engage in this community, you understand that veganism is about the animals. You either are vegan for the animals, or you are not (this is not to say that discussions about climate/environment/health are not allowed, of course)

Mine is rice, beans/tofu, a random assortment of sauteed veggies, and some random sauce from my fridge.

No problem if it was an honest mistake! Since you're already here, though, have you got any quick and easy vegan meals you like to have?

Taco/fajita filing is always a good one. 2 peppers, 1 onion, 1 can black beans, jalapenos and 1 can of Rotel tomatoes. Fry them all up together with a little oil and tex-mex spices, and put it in a hard or soft shell. If you don't want the wrap it goes good on rice too.

Ok, ive been trying to find any spices or chili oils that DON'T compliment chik peas in a hot pan and my hunt for misery has failed.

Even Old Bay is a hard 10/10 for me right up there with my garam masala. I'm so grateful for my maryland heritage lol.
