Taco Butt Plug
Coming over from reddit...
This is my test community in this new decentralized neat thing. TacoButtPlug came about from something amazing they're selling on etsy... But I originally wanted HypnoToad as my Lemmy handle... < /me glares at whoever took it>
This community is honestly just going to be a bunch of ramblings from a crazy person whose in school for something medical science related, already worked a career in human rights for a long ass time, been a database slut since early 00s, a cat/dog/squirrel/bird/whatever rescuer, an Angelino, and enjoys an unhealthy level of self-criticism.
I am loving this decentralized feel. Reminds me of the old days when the internet was organic and filled with solid irc alliances that would hunt nazi channels down and destroy them with botnets, ddos attacks, and a solid amount of doxing.
Because this is literally my first lemmy account it may suddenly go silent. It may not. I am learning fast how this thing works and so far I like this instance.

This week I am apparently on a low-fi roll? I found Slow Pulp and Hiss Golden Messenger.
Ashnikko also released a song I liked called "Dying Star".
As for pop goes I am proud of Selena Gomez for continuing to churn music out despite fighting Lupus. Her song "Single Soon" as alright.
I was annoyed with Miley Cyrus's release "Used To Be Young." Girl, you're still young. I can't get over her just being a nepo baby of the music industry, for the most part. She is talented and I did love Flowers but that is literally it. Would she have been a blip if her dad wasn't who he is?
I am absolutely excited Audrey Nuna released "locket." She is one of my favorite trap kitties outside of Young Miko and honestly, I think she's hella more prolific.
BLACKPINK did excellent with their single "THE GIRLS." Oh to be a rail thin waif in the k-pop crossover limelight.
Not the biggest Maluma fan cause his music is often too... slow? for me. But "Trofeo" came out last week and I like it.
City Girls released "Face Down" and I feel like they just redid a song they've already done. I love them but they need to start trying again.
Peso Pluma partnered up with a few other artists I've never head of - Blessd and SOG to release "Ojos Azules" and it was a bop.
Newly discovered TOBi and Kenny Mason via the single release "Flatline." It's a solid intro for me. I'll be paying attention to them.
Earl Sweatshirt released "Sentry" with MIKE and The Alchemist. It's alright.
I liked GAYLE's "leave me for dead." Right to the point on the love front.
