You'd have made a good point if everything he touched didn't turn to gold. Something something goose that lays the golden eggs.
Death Stranding was definitely not gold. Homie has to have someone to tell him when to stop, otherwise the narrative is a fucking mess.
Metacritic and sales figures disagree with you. It's fine if you don't like it, but it made money and garnered positive reputation.
