That isn’t what gaslighting means. The term refers to a type of psychological abuse involving the denial of a person’s own reality as a means of gaining power and control of a victim. It is not simply suggestion.
I am in denial of my own reality everyday. I just tell myself things are ok 😂
Same I take everything an hour at at time and hope that I can get ahead someday soon.
Sort of fits. The person self gaslighting is both the manipulator and victim. The person is trying to gain control over themselves and is denying reality.
Oh I'm aware, but meme is funny so me post! Although it's not used correctly here, I think it gets the point across succinctly. And don't worry, everything is fine! FINE!
