Sam is a local USC guy so it’s cool to see him get the chance down at Levi, but I want to see more of Trey. Feels like history repeating itself with the Smith/Kaep dilemma where we suddenly have too many QBs and STILL NO OL TO STOP SACKS

I’m cautiously optimistic about every QB we have but more concerned they’ll get killed before releasing a throw

Agreed…it’s pretty heartbreaking. Personally nothing can top watching Brock Purdy’s dad watch him become the 49ers QB…as a father that was indescribably moving…but I have a gnawing feeling we missed out on watching something special happen with Lance getting a full season as a starter to develop. The thought that we may never see that is sad, even though I want to see Brock continue…
