I’m sure AMD has some of the most talented and smart people working there. Whoever came up with the idea of releasing it as an exclusive to one 17 inch laptop is not one of those people.

I suppose yields were just too abysmal for a regular release. That laptop will sell maybe a few thousand units and that's probably all the laptop x3D chips AMD has.
