They found this on a very big cauldron that was used to feed many people. This is party food, so it's okay to say this was common food for the group, not just for "some people."
But let's remember these are modern humans. 5,000 years is nothing. We already had cities, agriculture, and maybe even libraries by that point.
Yeah, I used the words "some people" to express that I agree with @AbouBenAdhem that we're not talking about the whole world, just about people from that particular region. At the same time, I think such findings are rather interesting. And you're right that bronze age people were basicaly just like us, but it's still nice to have some idea of what food they liked 😀
