Everyone came out to circle jerk when Tim Russert died because he kissed ass. Nobody will come to mourn Jon but the real ones because Jon did more journalism than a comedian than journalists do anything.

And he's right about being hated. If someone hates you, you mattered.

Hard disagree. A bunch of us grew up on Jon. When he's gone he'll be sorely missed
