Why is AP not compatible with Game Boy chinese multi-game carts? (self.analogue_pocket)

I tried several Game Boy "# in 1" carts in the AP and none of them worked. Does anybody know what the AP is missing in order to be compatible with them?

Have you tried any multi cart? I'm not talking about everdrives, I have one and works without issues.

I don't own any multi carts, so I haven't tested those on my unit.
