Have you checked your junk or spam mail folder ?
Yes. And I've tried registering both from my daily Android phone, an Android tablet and with a windows PC. There's nothing in my junk mail folder.
I had this problem when registering with my current instance. I ended up sending a message to one of the admins from my other account and explained my issue. He marked it as verified on his end and I was able to sign in. Idk if the admins over there would do that but it's worth a shot if nothing else works.
Ended up doing this and now I'm in.
