LAWRENCE DISCORD

founded 1 year ago
MODERATORS

Hello everyone, it's u/surelythisisntaclone from r/Lawrence. I've created this community with the intent for it to replace the Lawrence subreddit. As a moderator, I depended heavily on the tools that redditisfun provided. Since these third party apps will no longer work, I am considering abandoning the subreddit entirely.

This new community should hopefully be a drop in replacement. All the rules and customs of the old subreddit apply here. Thank you so much for joining us!

Reddit can distinguish. The api change is entirely about making money before they go public on the stock exchange.

Well, if they are interested in continuing with their communities, seems like they could use a business model that charges for content skimming and waives fees for the apps that help Reddit function, in other words have their cake and eat it too. Haven't they learned anything from the Elon Musks of the world?
