How will you turn it into a birdhouse? Just drill a hole and scoop out what you can? I've never heard of this type of squash before.

Ya that’s basically it I think. I haven’t done it either. But the shell or rind dries completely rock hard. The vines can grow 30’ and only produce one or two so man this had better be worth it!

Wow! That's a huge vine for only a couple squash! I'm excited to see the progress!
