I think this is my favorite game ever, but I still haven't played the DLC yet (I swear I'll get around to it someday).

I'm not sure about the reduced frights setting. Are there jumpscares? And does it eliminate them or give more warning? I'm a complete coward when it comes to jumpscares ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I haven't finished the DLC, I'm guessing I'm mostly through it but not sure. So far, it has definitely scared me very effectively but in a way that completely fits the tone and narrative. I wouldn't call it jump scares in the classic, cheap jump scare way. Maybe if you're really not paying attention you might get a fright? But I'd say leave that setting off, and turn it on if you're really struggling to continue after getting scared

I really hate cheap jumpscares. I really like scares that are subtle but scary. Mortuary Assistant does it really well. I still haven't gotten around to playing the DLC so thank you for your opinion!
