What's with the slow increase in game time throughout the years? Seems strange that it just kept increasing year over year

Just a guess, but probably increases in commercials for broadcasting.

Probably didn't help having batters walk around, stretch, redo their gloves, shuffle around before every pitch. I feel like the rule change wasn't for the average player, but because of a few bad actors that stretched out that time. I think Soto is a great player but let's be real, he was SLOW!
