Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! ✈️

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Napansin ko rin 1 friend's post on top of my feed tapos puro sponsored/recommended posts na. I only use fb to check on my friends from time to time pero ngayon sobrang nakakatamad na. Kahit i-snooze yung mga posts after a few days bumabalik (30 days dapat na muted yun).

First nila inimplement to sa Instagram eh. Hindi na rin β€œblockable” yung ads nila dun. Tas ngayon meron na rin sa Facebook.

Yes, nakakatamad na rin mag-browse ng feed. Mas active pa nga ako sa groups kesa mag-view ng Reels or other feeds eh.

Well try apps that block ads system-wide if you don't mind the storage
