How well do you guys sleep? My current sleep schedule is the worst it has ever been and I'm not sure how I should go about fixing it.

Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder with Non-24, and recently having bouts of insomnia, when before I could sleep at odd schedules with no problem. Not a pretty sight.

It's been going on since I was a kid, back in those days I had books, magazines and the radio to keep me company late at night when everyone else was asleep.

Nowadays, as my wife and kids sleep, I have a cozy space to either lounge or do stretches/yoga/meditation, while there's my cats to keep me company, along with internet radio and a tablet when sitting, for years it's been about scrolling and writing on Reddit, or writing to friends via Signal, I have a couple of friends with whom I write long strings of texts, Twitter-style, about whatever's on my mind at the moment, usually about something cool I read or saw... usually on Reddit.

Yesterday, one of my friends sent me a YouTube link, wanted to turn me on to the show Letterkenny, gotta say I did burst out laughing out loud a few times, now I gotta check it out. Very niche rural Canadian humor.

Notice I didn't say "television" anywhere, except for when friends send me something. I almost never turn on the Roku when I can't sleep. But when I do, it'll be astronomy, science, art of history documentaries (it is INCREDIBLE what's out there on YouTube), a British quiz game show called Richard Osman's House Of Games, or travel shows from Japanese network NHK World - they visit a lot of small old towns, or just cruise regions by train.
Television with a light touch, no drama, tension or violence.
