Their new bill would place a cap on the value of gifts that Supreme Court justices are allowed to receive.

hell yeah. i hope it passes. no court should be above a moral standard of ethics. how this came to be for so long is beyond me

I think because of the vetting process for supreme court justices, the rest of government just trusted them to hold themselves to a high ethical standard.
