Well he cannot lie his way out of the case in a legal sense, but he can certainly lie to the Cult and most of them will keep believing this is a sham case.
Yes he can lie to the cult because he has them conditioned to listen only to him and to reject all other sources of information. That my friends is the definition of a cult, and cults always end the same way. Koolaide
