Windshield is perforated. Melting is present around the perforation. This means it was extremely hot, yet, flammable material are not burned up.
And so, this is not from a fire inside a car.
Edit : oops this is already 5 days old.
Not if the car is made of non-metallic plastics (like most cars these days).
I checked the charts, and you're correct. Cars are still 55% cast iron and steel.
