When I open an image the screen remains black. I am able to swipe out to go back. Just downloaded the TestFlight build.

Thanks for bringing this up! Just tried compact mode and I can indeed replicate this issue. I am a "large mode" user myself, so I must admit that tested that one more often then the compact mode. Will definitely have a look at this as soon as I'm back from my holiday!
