I finally got around to modding my 2DSXL and am trying a bunch of games I haven't before. But ngl I still prefer to play things such as shooters, which the 3DS is just terrible at due to lack of 2nd thumbstick (and the C-Stick is not much of an upgrade).

In the past I was actually playing with the idea of getting a non-New 3DS just to be able to use circle pad pro.

But now I'm thinking, would it maybe make sense to try to play some games southpaw - i.e. left handed - i.e. use the face buttons for movement and the thumbstick for camera?

Any right handed people playing like that?

It's not, you'll have to track down an older model to do this (and a compatible Circle Pad Pro for the model you get).

Alternatively, I've seen several people out there replacing their C-Sticks with the thumb nub/stick from a PS Vita. The rumor is that it feels better in these use cases than the C-Stick. Might be worth looking into.

I probably will, but it's still just a stick that I doubt will be good for the likes of Quake. Oh well... I guess I'll just wait till I'll be able to get a different handheld device.
