So the idea of "buy it for life" is to buy items that are durable and last for a long time, things you could buy once and have your whole life, which can save money and be good for the environment

What are some of the top items you recommend for this?

eh id highly recommend a 9mm first The ammo is much more common.

then maybe like a .357 Ruger or something where you can use multiple different round sizes interchangeably.

Actually my G43x gets a lot more time on the belt nowadays, it’s like the perfect balance between compact and shootable.

But yes, 9mm is significantly more relevant for self defense use, and a Glock is far less complicated to service than the big bore grandpa gat.
