Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! ✈️

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Masarap ba sa Mendokoro Ramen? May food truck pala dito until August 6.

Edit: Tried it. I liked it better than Nagi.

How was it? Ippudo level? Or Hanamaruken? The wife always brings it up whenever a trip to Ikea is planned, but we never get the chance to do it.

Pretty good. I really liked the broth and the texture of the noodles. Haven't tried Ippudo or Hanamatuken yet tho, so I can't compare to them.

Sa friend group namen, ako lang ang may mas prefer Ippudo vs Mendokoro. Tastes great, pero masyadong savory yung tonkotsu broth ng Mendokoro for me, to the point na umay sya.

I generally prefer Mendokoro over Ippudo but it is also much richer compared to most ramens. Marami akong kilala nauumay sa Mendokoro. Their gyoza is probably the best here though.
