Excommunication doesn't mean you aren't a catholic.

Confessing apostasy doesn't mean you aren't a catholic.

Worshiping satan doesn't mean you are not a catholic.

When you are baptised catholic, you are forever counted as one of the catholics and there is no way to change this, truly. Even asking to be removed from the official register of catholics from the Archdiocese from where you were born doesn't mean you aren't a catholic.

Catholicism is a cult that one cannot truly escape, though I do recommend the unbaptism ritual from the satanic temple.
