Tony has nothing more to give, really wish he would retire. I’m sad he hasn’t got the best prospects for post-fighting careers though. I don’t think he’s going to be good at commentary with the amount of CTE he’s got now. He won’t be in high demand as a coach because he’s so whacky with his style rather than being a technician. Feels bad man.
The spirit of El Cucuy has left him. All that is left is a body with insane pain tolerance and the determination to try again.
He doesn't even look competent as a grappler anymore either.
Agreed. He’ll probably end up as a token unorthodox sparring partner in some random gym.
EDIT: I don’t mean this disrespectfully, I just can’t see the dude leaving fighting behind.
Honestly that sounds like a nicer retirement for him than some outcomes. The truck incident makes me worry for him and what will happen once the spotlight is gone.
