Yet another reason why tomatoes are cool - a couple weeks back I accidentally broke this vine, and decided to shove it in the ground and see if it would live. Now it's taking off with new growth! (lemmy.world)

Last year we had 1 merrigold tomato plant that we didn't trim and it went wild. We had way too many tomatoes so we let a bunch fall on the ground and only picked what we needed. This year I have been pulling tomato plants out by the dozen as they are a dominant weed in my garden. They are insanely hardy these days
