That's what I always tell people. I had 12 years of Catholic education. I'm convinced there is nothing in this world that could've made me less religious than all the stuff we read and studied.
Obviously, The "Church" (it wasn't even called Catholic back then as it had no competition) has never been as popular as it was when most of its believers were illiterate.
