I use Tokonole pretty much on everything. I recently had a chrome tan though that was (for me) impossible to burnish. I tried a wooden slicker and canvas and all it did was fray. Does Tokonole work on all chrome tan for you? I am still quite the beginner so I wouldn’t doubt it’s me.
Edge kote is that similar to Tokonole or more a thicker liquid to coat the edge?
No some leather won't burnish, it's not just you. I'm not a pro at thus stuff either. Like chromexcel you can get a decent burnish on. But when I've used crazy horse and similar leather I just edge koted it instead. So it really depends on the leather.
And the edge kote is more like painting the edges, it has a color to it.
That’s good. I use lots of different colours.
Ok thanks. I’ll pick up some Edge Kote then and see if I can work it with that.
